Training is given on the Rights and Obligation of Employees 

A training program devised to broaden the awareness of employees of Ethiopian Sugar Industry Group (ESIG) on their rights and obligations specified by Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia Labor Proclamation No. 1156/2009 is given on January 5, 2023 at meeting hall of the group.

Member of Board of Directors of Ethiopian Sugar Industry Group and Directorate General of Legal Service at Prime Minister’s Office, Ato Solomon Engida, while giving the training said that employees of the Group should properly know their rights and obligations stipulated on the Proclamation and hence work for the success of the Group.

As stated on the Proclamation of Ethiopian Labor Law, the employees and employer which is Ethiopian Sugar Industry Group should both abide by the contract they signed and work hand-in-glove to create peaceful working environment and thereby realize the success of the Company, he further stressed.

Major ideas incorporated on the Labor Law and their applicability was raised and discussed broadly.
