“Omo Kuraz Two and Three Sugar Factories Should Give Emphasis to Remaining Activities”

• Management and Technical Team of the Group Paid Visit to Factories

 “Omo Kuraz Two and Three Sugar Factories should give due attention on remaining activities even though they are showing a better performance working as per comments previously given” CEO of the Group Ato Weyo Roba said.

This is stated during the evaluation session of their six month performance held in the factories’ premises.

CEO of Ethiopian Sugar Industry Group, Ato Weyo Roba on the occasion said Omo Kuraz Two and Three Sugar Factories have shown a better performance applying previously given comments.

He also noted that the factories need to emphasize on remaining key activities with regard to land preparation and cane plantation.

Ato Weyo has given directions to the factories on meeting the target set in the remaining production time minimizing wastes which arise during cane delivery and sugar production process.

He also gave directions to divisions in the head office to properly carry out follow-up works on the assignments given to the factories and support themaccordingly while reporting their performance to the Group’s Management is their other task.

The technical team formed at head office to give every support, staying in the factories for a while, is expected to help the factories fill in the gaps identified both on the agriculture and factory part, it was learnt.
